A STATEMENT CONCERNING MY FATHER

This is my first time posting anything on social media about my father.  He is no longer in the earth realm.  I acknowledge my father as one who was present in our home.  He gave wise instructions.  He taught me how to cook and manage money, among other things.  He went to work and came home each day.  I thought that was what fathers did.   Later in life I learned, and I am sad to report, that was not what all fathers did.  Some fathers took care of other men's  wives and children and would not go home to their own.  Some would fix miss so and so's plumbing while neglecting their own.  Now that I am more mature, I reflect back and realize that my father was present in our home.  I could say so much more about him, but to keep in line with the subject of this blog..."I HAVE MADE A STATEMENT CONCERNING MY FATHER!"
