According to FoxNews, ​the name of Jesus is not welcome in the center's newsletter."  When tragedy strikes, the first question they ask is, "where was Jesus?"  They love to blame bad happenings on Jesus, but they ousted him.  Where did they think he was?  They must know that if they put him out, they need to go find him.  Proverbs 18:10 - "The​ name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe."  Philippians 2:9-11  "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Where was Jesus?   I can tell you where he is; I did not oust him...HE LIVES IN ME!!!

]]>Mon, 14 Jul 2014 18:48:06 GMThttps://www.sharonleegraham.com/sharons-blog/are-you-running-into-the-fireI read a sad article about a man who died after jumping into a ceremonial bonfire.  The temperature had been measured at 2,000 degrees.  I can only think of baking something in my oven at 450 degrees.  The article said he was very fast and very motivated and he had a very deliberate objective.  He was not going to be stopped.  I pray for the family and friends of this man.

I want to run in the fire.  Don't panic, I am not crazy.  I want to catch on fire, burning with the Holy Ghost (remember that song?).  If we would allow the Holy Spirit to minister to each of us, we would be changed and the world would change because of the change in us.  Change is contagious, whether it be for good or bad; someone will cause change and others will follow.  What change will you bring to the world? ]]>Sun, 15 Jun 2014 00:45:21 GMThttps://www.sharonleegraham.com/sharons-blog/a-statement-concerning-my-fatherThis is my first time posting anything on social media about my father.  He is no longer in the earth realm.  I acknowledge my father as one who was present in our home.  He gave wise instructions.  He taught me how to cook and manage money, among other things.  He went to work and came home each day.  I thought that was what fathers did.   Later in life I learned, and I am sad to report, that was not what all fathers did.  Some fathers took care of other men's  wives and children and would not go home to their own.  Some would fix miss so and so's plumbing while neglecting their own.  Now that I am more mature, I reflect back and realize that my father was present in our home.  I could say so much more about him, but to keep in line with the subject of this blog..."I HAVE MADE A STATEMENT CONCERNING MY FATHER!"  ]]>Sat, 31 May 2014 23:31:09 GMThttps://www.sharonleegraham.com/sharons-blog/family-is-importantHow important is family?  Important enough to be attacked by the enemy!

It is time to honor fathers.  Some fathers have made their transition, yet we honor them and encourage the fatherless.  Some fathers are absent for other reasons and yet we encourage their children.  

Thank God for God-given fathers.  Some men have never had children, but they have stepped up to father another man's child/children and we thank God for you and we give you honor and appreciation.  We give you your roses while you can smell them.  We pray you are able to see the twinkle in the eyes of those whose lives that have been touched by you.  We pray you are able to see the smile and hear the laughter you have given to many.  You mean a whole lot to this world.

I have heard happiness in the voice of many people today, male and female, as they joyfully say "happy mothers day;" but on the other hand, I have felt the pain and seen pain in the face of those who do not have their mother in their life on this mothers day.  

I pray for the mothers who do not have their child/children in their life on this mothers day.  In the midst of pain, you are not alone.  Not only does God see your pain, He knows all about it and has someone praying for you.
